Tottenham Hotspur player could try to sign wants to join West Ham United

Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Filip Kostic wants to join West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.

90min reported today that West Ham are in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign Kostic this summer.

The 29-year-old, who can operate as a full-back, winger and left-back, is ‘interested in joining West Ham’, according to the report.

It will be a blow for Tottenham, who have also been linked with a move for Kostic in the summer transfer window.

Earlier this summer, the London Evening Standard claimed Tottenham admired the Serbia international and could still sign him despite Ivan Perisic arriving to play on the left side.

West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur for Filip Kostic?

In our opinion, West Ham United are a better option than Tottenham Hotspur for Eintracht Frankfurt star Filip Kostic.

Perisic will be the clear number one left-back at Tottenham next season, while Ryan Sessegnon will be his assistant.

Kostic will only have Aaron Cresswell to compete at West Ham.

The 29-year-old is at the top of his game at the moment, and he would be confident of making the left-back role his own at the Hammers.

Kostic scored four goals and provided nine assists in 28 Bundesliga starts last season.

The left-winger scored three goals and provided four assists in 12 Europa League games last season.
