It really is Reiss Nelson’s decisive season when it comes to his Arsenal career.
And it’s all the more difficult since he’s not even at the club at the moment.
Nelson was once considered one of Arsenal’s hottest properties, but the future looks bleak for him in North London.

And given that both are left-wing forwards, Mikel Arteta and Edu wouldn’t think of Sterling if they still trusted Nelson.
He was loaned out to Feyenoord a few months ago and with his Arsenal contract expiring in 2023, the Gunners could be forced to sell next summer to avoid losing him 12 months later.
That’s why the next nine months or so are decisive for the Hale End graduate – but it is possible that what he does in the Netherlands is irrelevant anyway.
Let’s face it, Sterling is a million miles ahead of him and if Arteta really wants it – and he could, given the two worked together at Manchester City – then it’s so worrying for Nelson. .
With Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli already considered left options by Arteta, there is simply no room for Nelson if the Sterling plan comes true.
