Adamu optimistic about APC victory in 2023 elections

Adamu expresses confidence in APC and says party will be victorious in 2023 elections

All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman Abdullahi Adamu boasted on Sunday that the party would win the 2023 general election.

Adamu said so in a conversation with reporters at his home in Abuja.

He said: “There will be no room for failure. This is our first mission. The very first mission is to work against anything that has the potential to bring failure. Fortunately, in my political activism as a student to date, I have never led a failed mission. I have never ordered a broken ship.

“If there are things that are problematic, I do my best to sort them out as best I can and that’s what we’ll do.

“Given the enormity of the task and the trust that President Muhammadu Buhari has placed in us, we have no excuses. We will ensure that everything we need to work will be provided. Any cloudy atmosphere , we will clear it as best we can. We will face the election as one party, one family, and face our opponents or adversaries as one united party.

“Remember that we have already faced an election when our president today was not president and we won. He is about to complete his second term. He has made it clear that ‘he would no longer contest and that means we won’t have an incumbent, someone in the saddle of our party’s power on the ballot as we face the next election.
